Krasinski and Blunt get engaged

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 28 (UPI) -- John Krasinski's publicist said the U.S. actor and British actress Emily Blunt are planning to marry.

Krasinski is best known for his work on TV's "The Office." Blunt's film credits include "The Devil Wears Prada" and "The Jane Austen Book Club."

The couple reportedly began dating last November.

"We can confirm that John and Emily are engaged," the actor's representative told People.com.

The magazine did not say when the stars plan to tie the knot.
