Eddie Cibrian files for divorce

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 26 (UPI) -- Eddie Cibrian's wife says the television actor, linked romantically to country singer LeAnn Rimes, filed for divorce in Los Angeles this week.

Brandi Glanville told Usmagazine.com Cibrian has moved to legally end their eight-year marriage.

"I asked Eddie to file for divorce on Monday and he did so," Glanville said of her husband.

Usmagazine.com said Cibrian listed "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for his divorce petition and asked for joint custody of his two children with Glanville.

"He filed yesterday and I accepted it. We're getting a divorce. We talked to each other yesterday," Glanville told E! News Tuesday.
