NEW YORK, Aug. 25 (UPI) -- "Irving Berlin's White Christmas" is scheduled to play a second holiday season at Broadway's Marquis Theatre, representatives for the stage musical said.

The production is based on the classic Paramount Pictures film about "two showbiz buddies who put on a show in a picturesque Vermont inn, and find their perfect mates in the bargain," a news release said. The musical is to run for 61 performances, starting Nov. 13, 2009 and ending Jan. 3, 2010.

Tickets are to go on sale Sept. 12 and will be available by calling Ticketmaster at 877-250-2929 or 212-307-4100, or visiting www.ticketmaster.com.

Casting and schedule information are expected to be announced shortly.

The Tony Award-nominated musical made its Broadway debut at the Marquis Theatre last season following popular productions around the United States.
