NEW YORK, Aug. 25 (UPI) -- La Toya Jackson has agreed to sit for her first in-depth TV interview since her U.S. pop star brother, Michael, died June 25, ABC announced Tuesday.

Barbara Walters is to talk to Jackson for the Sept. 11 season premiere of "20/20."

"The no-holds-barred interview will cover topics including her impressions of Michael's children and her insight into the Jackson family," the network said in a news release. "La Toya, who signed Michael Jackson's death certificate, will discuss her close relationship with her brother and reveal why she believes he was murdered."

Michael Jackson's death reportedly was categorized by authorities as a homicide after an autopsy revealed lethal levels of the anesthesia propofol in the singer's system. His personal physician is under investigation for administering the drug to Jackson before his death at the age of 50.

"I am thankful to the investigators for uncovering the truth to the world, and I look forward to the day that justice will be served to all the parties involved in my brother's homicide," La Toya Jackson said in an exclusive statement to ABC News.
