LOS ANGELES, Aug. 25 (UPI) -- Keith Carradine has signed on for a recurring role in the second season of the U.S. television drama "Dollhouse," TVGuide.com reported.

Carradine reportedly will appear in at least two episodes of the show, which is slated to return for its sophomore season Sept. 25.

Starting in October, he will be seen playing Matthew Harding, a businessman with connections to characters Adelle -- played by Olivia Williams -- and Sierra -- played by Dichen Lachman, TVGuide.com said.

The actor's film credits include "McCabe & Mrs. Miller," "Nashville," "The Duellists," "Choose Me" and "The Tie That Binds." He also appeared in TV's "Into the West," "Deadwood" and "Complete Savages."

In addition to his stint on "Dollhouse," he is expected to continue in his recurring role on Showtime's "Dexter" next season.
