BUENA PARK, Calif., Aug. 22 (UPI) -- Authorities in Orange County, Calif., say the body of Jasmine Fiore was identified through the swimsuit model's breast implants.
Orange County District Attorney spokeswoman Susan Schroeder said a body found last weekend in Buena Park, Calif., was identified as Fiore, 28, despite missing its teeth and fingertips, People.com reported Friday.
"We actually have had several cases where we identified the victim or the defendant in that way," Schroder said of the use of the implants' serial numbers to identify the homicide victim.
Farrah Emami of the Orange County district attorney's office said Fiore's husband, reality TV star Ryan Jenkins, who is wanted in his wife's strangulation is suspected of having crossed into Canada on foot following a high-speed boat chase.
Emami said a speedboat registered to Jenkins was found Thursday in Point Roberts, Wash., after a U.S. Coast Guard cutter failed to catch it during a chase.
