NEW YORK, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- Former tabloid reporter Kate Major says U.S. reality television personality Jon Gosselin was lying when he denied having an affair with her.
Major told TV's "Inside Edition" her relationship with Gosselin, co-star of "Jon & Kate Plus 8," became sexual shortly after she interviewed him for Star magazine.
"It's embarrassing to have to admit that," Major said.
"I will be damned if this man is going to keep denying this situation… I wish it never happened. I need to move on with my life. I cannot take this anymore."
Told Gosselin has accused her of lying about their alleged romantic relationship, Major replied: "Well, he's lying. I wouldn't sit here on national television and make something up like this."
Gosselin and his wife Kate, the parents of eight young children, recently announced plans to divorce. Gosselin has since confirmed he has been dating 22-year-old family friend, Hailey Glassman.
