SANTA MONICA, Calif., Aug. 20 (UPI) -- The late U.S. singer-songwriter Dan Fogelberg's final album, "Love in Time," is set for release on CD next month, Universal Music Enterprises said.
"In 2006, Dan Fogelberg, the renowned singer-songwriter whose career spanned three decades and helped define introspective ballads and the acoustic-based rock music of the '70s and '80s, completed the recordings for an album he titled 'Love in Time' and put them in a safe deposit box," his record label said in a news release. "Diagnosed with cancer two years earlier, he had not performed since, and asked his wife Jean to release the album after his death."
Fogelberg died in December 2007 at age 56.
"Love" was released digitally Aug. 13, which would've been Fogelberg's 58th birthday. It will be released physically on CD Sept. 22.
