NEW YORK, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- U.S. recording artist R. Kelly will release "Untitled," his 10th studio album, Oct. 13, Jive Records announced Wednesday.
The Grammy Award-winning R&B singer, who was acquitted last year of child pornography charges dating back to 2002 also is to begin a U.S. concert tour titled "Ladies Make Some Noise!" Oct. 8 in Mashantucket, Conn.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale Saturday.
"On 'Untitled,' R. Kelly returns to the streets and delivers an album with a renewed energy and enthusiasm," his record label said in a release. "Creatively, he collaborates with a new crew of up-and-coming producers, including Infinity, Lil Ronnie, Chris Henderson and, in a break from almost exclusively recording in Chicago, Kelly recorded some of the material in Atlanta."
"I wanted to go back to the streets and connect directly to my fans. The love I have received is amazing and this is for them," Kelly said in a statement.
