LOS ANGELES, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- The rock band Daughtry has announced plans for a 36-date U.S. arena tour this fall to support its new studio album, "Leave This Town."

The opening acts for the concert series will be main support Theory of a Dead Man and opener Cavo.

The upcoming tour will begin Oct. 19 in Topeka, Kan. The first leg of the tour will end Dec. 20 in Evansville, Ind., RCA Music Group said.

"We dreamed about how it would feel playing these songs to packed arenas, and we're excited to get our chance," Chris Daughtry said in a statement. "We have a great show planned and can't wait to hit the road to share it with our fans."
