Suitcase body ID'd as model

BUENA PARK, Calif., Aug. 18 (UPI) -- The body of a woman found stuffed in a suitcase in a California dumpster has been identified as that of model and dancer Jasmine Fiore, TMZ reported.

The entertainment news Web site said police have called Fiore's Canadian husband, Ryan Alexander Jenkins, a "person of interest" in the case, but acknowledged they have been unable to reach him.

Jenkins reportedly met Fiore this year at the Las Vegas strip club where she worked shortly after he appeared as a finalist on the reality series, "Megan Wants a Millionaire," currently airing on VH1.

A body eventually identified as Fiore's was discovered Saturday morning in a trash bin behind a Buena Park, Calif. Jenkins reported his wife missing Saturday night, TMZ said.

The Los Angeles Times described Fiore as a 28-year-old swimsuit model who was last seen at her home Friday night.

Sgt. Shawn Morgan of the Buena Park Police Dept. told The Orange County Register before the body was identified that an autopsy found the woman had head injuries but did not determine a cause of death. Morgan said she probably died hours before her remains were found.
