LJUBLJANA, Slovenia, Aug. 7 (UPI) -- Slovenian organizers Friday said U.S. pop star Madonna's concert planned for Ljubljana's Stozice horse track ground has been canceled.

The Madonna show, as part of her Sticky&Sweet world tour, scheduled for Aug. 20 in Ljubljana, was canceled due to "unexpected logistical problems," the Live Nation promotion agency said.

The Slovenian news agency STA offered no details as to why the concert was canceled.
