Will Smith nervous about daughter dating

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 5 (UPI) -- A big-screen version of the classic Dodge City-set radio and television series "Gunsmoke" is in development, The Hollywood Reporter said.
"National Treasure: Book of Secrets" screenwriter Gregory Poirier reportedly is close to finishing his first draft for the action-adventure western, which will once again focus on 19th century hero Marshal Matt Dillon.
The entertainment industry trade newspaper said CBS Films's re-imagining of the original series will still be set in the Old West, but will also feature a contemporary look and modern action twists.
The TV series ran for 20 seasons, ending in 1975.
