Actor Heath Ledger dies at 28 in New York

LONDON, Aug. 4 (UPI) -- A Modest Mouse music video Australian actor Heath Ledger directed before he died is to be released on the Internet.

Ledger died last year of an accidental prescription drug overdose, leaving unfinished the animated "King Rat" video, which is intended to raise awareness about commercial whaling off the coast of Australia, the BBC said.

A video company, in which the actor had been a partner, completed the clip in his honor and is set to debut it on iTunes Wednesday, with the first month's proceeds going to the non-profit Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, the British broadcaster said.
