NEW YORK, July 30 (UPI) -- Morgan Fairchild, Jim J. Bullock, Alan Thicke and Melissa Rivers have signed up to appear in the U.S. soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful," CBS said.

Fairchild is to be seen on the series Aug. 10-11 and Aug. 13-14, playing a "Beverly Hills socialite friend of Stephanie Forrester, played by Susan Flannery, who prompts a dueling fashion show between rival fashion houses Forrester Creations and Jackie M."
