Stars line up for 'Bold' guest spots

NEW YORK, July 30 (UPI) -- Morgan Fairchild, Jim J. Bullock, Alan Thicke and Melissa Rivers have signed up to appear in the U.S. soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful," CBS said.

Fairchild is to be seen on the series Aug. 10-11 and Aug. 13-14, playing a "Beverly Hills socialite friend of Stephanie Forrester, played by Susan Flannery, who prompts a dueling fashion show between rival fashion houses Forrester Creations and Jackie M."

Bullock reprises his role as Sergei, while Thicke returns as Rich Ginger, and Rivers plays herself, as celebrity judges at the fashion show. Their episodes are to air Aug. 12-14.

In addition, "America's Next Top Model" runner-up Samantha Potter will play a Jackie M. model during the episodes that air Aug. 13-14, CBS said.
