LOS ANGELES, July 28 (UPI) -- Coldplay's publicist says members of the British rock band have agreed to lend their voices and likenesses to the animated U.S. series "The Simpsons."
The group will be featured in an episode in which Homer wins the lottery and has the musicians play a private concert for him and his son, Bart, the BBC said.
"When Bart goes to the bathroom, Coldplay has to stop," executive producer Al Jean told Entertainment Weekly.
The show, which is to begin airing its 21st season in September, has previously featured guest spots by recording stars such as U2, Sting, Paul McCartney, Johnny Cash, Elton John and The Moody Blues.
