Elton John and Billy Joel perform in Washington

ALBANY, N.Y., July 26 (UPI) -- Promoters of a "Face 2 Face" concert in Albany, N.Y., say the event was postponed after singer Billy Joel came down with flu-like symptoms.

The event promoters told the Albany Times Union on Saturday that Joel's illness resulted in his Albany show with singer Elton John scheduled for Monday being postponed to an undetermined date.

A "Face 2 Face" concert in Buffalo, N.Y., that was scheduled for Friday was also postponed to an undetermined date.

The promoters told the Times until the new dates for the two New York shows are finalized, those holding tickets for the prior dates should keep their tickets ready for final arrangements.
