Will Smith nervous about daughter dating
NEW YORK, July 23 (UPI) -- Kelis' publicist says the recording artist has given birth to her first child, a son, in New York.
"The beautiful baby boy and his mother are doing wonderful," the singer's representative told Usmagazine.com.
Knight Jones weighed seven pounds, eight ounces when he was born Tuesday night, the publicist said.
Kelis' estranged husband, rapper Nas, is the baby's father. The couple is in the middle of an acrimonious divorce, however, both parties are seeking joint custody of Knight, Usmagazine.com said.
