WASHINGTON, July 17 (UPI) -- Brad Paisley, Alison Krauss and Union Station agreed to perform a special concert for President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle in Washington, officials say.
The New York Times said the country concert is to take place Tuesday night in the executive mansion.
The musicians are also expected to head up an educational workshop, in which 120 middle and high school students will learn the nuts and bolts of songwriting, particularly country music, The Times said.
Jazz was the focus of the first installment in the White House music series. Classical is the genre expected to be highlighted next, the newspaper said.
