LONDON, July 16 (UPI) -- A London High Court judge has granted Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil a tentative divorce ending their stormy two-year marriage.

The singer and her husband struggled with addictions to drugs, and Fielder-Civil spent a good portion of their union in prison for assault and obstruction of justice.

CNN said unless any cause why the couple should not legally part ways is shown, the marriage will be officially dissolved Aug. 28.

Fielder-Civil cited "Amy's adultery" as the reason when he filed for divorce earlier this year, CNN said.

The British soul singer appeared heartbroken and frequently referred to her husband during performances as "my Blake incarcerated" while he was behind bars.

After Fielder-Civil was released from jail, he and the recording artist reportedly separated, with Fielder-Civil heading off to rehab and Winehouse spending several months on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia. She reportedly returned home to England last week.
