LONDON, July 16 (UPI) -- Jamie Waylett, a supporting player in the Harry Potter film franchise, has pleaded guilty to growing 10 cannabis plants at his mother's London home.

Waylett, 19, plays Vincent Crabbe, villain Draco Malfoy's henchman, in the Potter blockbusters.

The BBC said Waylett was charged when police discovered photos of the plants on his camera after he was arrested for snapping a picture of officers as he and a friend drove by.

A search of the car Waylett's pal was driving allegedly turned up a knife and numerous bags of pot; that, plus the images on the camera led to a search of Waylett's family home where the plants were found, the BBC said.

Waylett's next court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday.
