NEW YORK, July 12 (UPI) -- The New York Daily News says its headquarters was used as a filming location for Jennifer Aniston's new movie, "The Bounty."

The newspaper said Sunday the former "Friends" star, along with a cast of extras and production workers, were at the Daily News headquarters Saturday to film scenes from the upcoming journalism action-comedy.

Aniston plays a New York reporter who is attempting to investigate a story as her former bail bondsman husband, played by Gerard Butler, attempts to track her down over a missed court appearance. No due date for the Andy Tennant-directed film was reported.

Actress Michelle DiBenedetti said filming in the Daily News headquarters represented a pleasant departure from tradition movie sets.

"It's exciting, seeing everything on the wall. Normally it's a contrived set," she told the Daily News.
