NEW YORK, July 11 (UPI) -- British actor Daniel Radcliffe, star of the "Harry Potter" movies, says he does not really see himself a sex symbol.
InTouch magazine reported Friday that during an appearance in New York, the 19-year-old actor said he considers his "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" co-star Rob Pattinson a more believable sex symbol.
"It's very kind of them, but I don't know. If girls like short and nerdy, then I'm a sex symbol!" Radcliffe said of those who say he's hot.
"Rob Pattinson is a sex symbol. He's a genuinely sexy guy -- he's got the height!"
Meanwhile, actress Bonnie Wright, who plays Ginny Weasley in "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince," applauded Radcliffe's rumored romance with actress Laura O'Toole.
"I think it's lovely he's found somebody with the same background. I think it helps when someone can understand something that you're in," Wright told InTouch at Thursday's premiere.
