LOS ANGELES, July 11 (UPI) -- Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie says her band will open for U2 at five U.S. shows.
The Peas frontwoman said opening for U2 would be a challenge, given the length and success of the Irish rockers' careers, InTouch reported online Friday.
"It's going to be amazing," Fergie said. "I remember going to see U2 in high school, so now to be on that stage, it's going to be challenging. We definitely have to bring it at those shows."
The dates and locations for shows the Black Eyed Peas will open were not reported.
