LOS ANGELES, July 9 (UPI) -- U.S. television actress Patricia Arquette has filed court papers asking that her petition to be divorced from her husband, actor Thomas Jane, be dismissed.

Arquette is best known for her work on TV's "Medium," while Jane stars in the new series "Hung."

The actress filed for divorce last January, citing irreconcilable differences.

However, TMZ said she requested the divorce petition be dismissed Thursday.

Arquette and Jane have a daughter.
