LONDON, July 9 (UPI) -- Pop star Alesha Dixon will be a judge on "Strictly Come Dancing" when the British TV competition series starts its seventh season this fall, the BBC said.

Dixon, 30, won the 2007 edition of the popular dance-off.

She is to replace outgoing judge Arlene Phillips, who is set to assume the duties of "Strictly Come Dancing" expert on "The One Show."

Slated to return as regular "Strictly" judges are Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood, the BBC said.
