GLASTONBURY, England, July 5 (UPI) -- The alternative band Blur and Canadian rocker Neil Young reportedly provided a couple of the more memorable performances at Britain's Glastonbury Festival.
The Observer said Young provided a tough rock show Friday to those gathered at the festival's main stage in the village of Pilton.
Blur moved festival attendees on Sunday's final day, while U.S. rocker Bruce Springsteen took to the stage Saturday.
The Observer said the festival, which will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2010, also featured the likes of Lily Allen, Lady GaGa and The Specials.
Sarah Brown, wife of British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, was among those on hand, The Independent said.
Sarah Brown, who took part in a Gay Pride march in London Saturday, attended the annual festival with British model Naomi Campbell.
