LOS ANGELES, July 5 (UPI) -- Choreographer Mia Michaels says U.S. actress Katie Holmes has the dancing skills to shine on the 100th episode of "So You Think You Can Dance."
Michaels said Holmes has looked sharp in rehearsals for her dance routine on the Fox TV series July 23, People.com reported Saturday.
"She's really blossoming into a gorgeous triple-threat star," said Michaels, a "Dance" choreographer. "So I'm excited. I saw clips of it and it's brilliant!"
Holmes will be dancing to support The Dizzy Feet Foundation, a group she founded that helps young dancers receive assistance such as scholarships.
The foundation's other founding members include "Dance" judge Carrie Ann Inaba and director Adam Shankman.
"Dance" executive producer Nigel Lythgoe told People magazine the dance routine for Holmes came about after the actress became a regular guest to the show's dress rehearsals.
