LOS ANGELES, July 5 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Tori Spelling says she just finished writing a children's book that could be released within the next year.

The former "Beverly Hills, 90210" actress already has two published books to her credit, "sTORI Telling" and "Mommywood," Parade.com reported Thursday.

"I just wrote an illustrated children's book. It's going to be launching in about a year, but I just finished the text," Spelling said.

Spelling, 36, and her husband, actor Dean McDermott, have two children, Liam, 2 and Stella, 1.

"Liam's favorite is 'Goodnight Moon.' I introduced him to that because when I was little, my mom used to read that to me and I loved it!" Spelling said of her 2-year-old's literature preferences.

Spelling's life with her kids and McDermott can be seen on the Oxygen cable network series "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood," Parade magazine said.
