LOS ANGELES, June 28 (UPI) -- The nanny for Michael Jackson said she had to pump the U.S. entertainer's stomach "many times" while employed to care for his children.

Nanny Grace Rwaramba, who lives in London, said in an interview published by several London newspapers, "I had to pump his stomach many times. ... There was one period that it was so bad that I didn't let the children see him ... He always ate too little and mixed too much."

Her interview was published in the Sunday Times and portions of it were reprinted in The Guardian.

Rwaramba's revelations came as a second autopsy was performed at the request of Jackson's family in an attempt to answer questions surrounding his death Thursday. Los Angeles police Saturday confirmed reports that Jackson used the painkiller Oxycontin and received an injection of Demerol an hour before his death. She is expected to talk to detectives.

Rwaramba, who is from Rwanda, worked for Jackson for more than a decade, first as an office assistant then as the nanny to his children, Michael Jr., known as Prince, 12; Paris, 11; and Prince Michael II, nicknamed Blanket, 7.

She also said Jackson, sometimes short of cash and often clueless about his finances, led a nomadic life, moving from country to country and hotel to hotel. Rwaramba said she once tried to stage an intervention involving Jackson's mother and sister, Janet, to try to persuade the singer to come to face his drug use.
