Perez Hilton sues Peas's tour manager

LOS ANGELES, June 25 (UPI) -- Gossip blogger Perez Hilton has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court against the Black Eyed Peas's tour manager, whom he claims assaulted him.
Polo Molina was arrested this week and charged with assault for allegedly punching Hilton in the face during an altercation after a Toronto awards show.
The incident reportedly occurred when Hilton and Peas members Fergie and will.i.am exchanged words.
E! News said Hilton claimed in the lawsuit he filed Wednesday that Molina gave him a black eye, caused him "emotional distress" and violated his civil rights.
Hilton is asking for compensation for medical expenses, and unspecified general and punitive damages, E! News reported.
