
NEW YORK, June 24 (UPI) -- Kanye West, Beyonce, Queen Latifah, Soulja Boy and Keri Hilson are among those slated to perform at the upcoming 2009 BET Awards show in Los Angeles.
Also confirmed to take the stage at Sunday's event are Mary Mary, Ne-Yo, Maxwell, Fabolous, T-Pain, Keyshia Cole, Monica, Young Jeezy, Trey Songz and Tyrese, BET Networks said in a news release.
Expected to make appearances on the telecast are Alicia Keys, Wyclef Jean, Tyra Banks, Taraji P. Henderson, Idris Elba, Sherri Shepherd, Anthony Anderson, Paula Patton, Estelle, LeToya Luckett, Nichelle Nichols, Keke Palmer, Ray J, Snoop Dogg, Ving Rhames, Zoe Saldana and Marlon Wayans.
Recording artist and Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx is to serve as the evening's host and is scheduled to sing.
Alicia Keys and Wyclef Jean are to be recognized with the 2009 BET Humanitarian Award and The O'Jays are to be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award, BET Networks said.
