MIAMI, June 23 (UPI) -- Recording artist Gloria Estefan and her music producer husband, Emilio, are buying a share in the NFL's Miami Dolphins, an insider says.

The investment was described to the South Florida Sun Sentinel by the insider as a "small minority ownership" stake in the team.

The move is expected to officially be announced Thursday by the Estefans and Dolphins owner Stephen M. Ross.

Gloria Estefan is said to be working on original songs to be played during games, the newspaper reported.
