OKLAHOMA CITY, June 12 (UPI) -- The owners of the Oklahoma City properties Jessica Alba papered with white shark posters say they don't want to see the actress charged with vandalism.

The "Fantastic Four" star has publicly apologized for the stunt she pulled in an effort to raise awareness about the species' dwindling population.

However, police said they are still considering charging her after the city's parks department filed a complaint, The Oklahoman reported.

Oklahoma City crews helped remove the posters from various spots around town.

But most of the parties affected said they had no plans to press charges against Alba, who was in the area filming a movie, the newspaper said.

"No. It's not in our best interest," said Oklahoma City spokeswoman Kristy Yager.

"No, we are definitely not," said Erin Brewer, a representative for the United Way of Central Oklahoma.

"We don't have any plans to prosecute," said Brian Alford, spokesman for Oklahoma Gas & Electric.
