Jonas Brothers offer free NYC concert

"17 Again" premiere held in Los Angeles

NEW YORK, June 11 (UPI) -- The Jonas Brothers have announced plans to perform a free concert in New York Thursday night.

The fraternal pop group's surprise gig at Manhattan's Irving Plaza club was announced Thursday afternoon on their Web site.

The first 700 people who register, starting at 4 p.m. EDT, were to be admitted to the free concert.

Doors are to open at 8 p.m. and the show is set to start at 9 p.m. EDT.
