CHICAGO, June 10 (UPI) -- Former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich has agreed to appear at a performance of Second City's "Rod Blagojevich Superstar," the stage satire's producer said.
"Superstar" producer Kelly Leonard told the Chicago Tribune the indicted and impeached politician has been hired to drop by Saturday night to help announce the extension of the show, which skewers his career, through Aug. 9.
The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Blagojevich is also expected to participate in a planned improv set to follow the show, the Tribune said.
"We've been told he's really curious and has a great sense of humor," Leonard told the newspaper.
