NEW YORK, June 3 (UPI) -- The culinary competition series "Top Chef" is moving to Las Vegas for Season 6, Bravo announced.

Returning to the Emmy- and James Beard Award-winning cable television food show will be host Padma Lakshmi and head judge chef Tom Colicchio, as well as judges Gail Simmons and Toby Young.

"'Top Chef' offers a fascinating window into the competitive, pressure-filled environment of world-class cookery and the restaurant business at the highest level," the network said in a release. "The series features aspiring chefs who compete for their shot at culinary stardom and the chance to earn the prestigious title of 'Top Chef.'"

Bravo did not say when the next season of the show is scheduled to debut.
