LONDON, June 2 (UPI) -- Diversity, the dance troupe that won the "Britain's Got Talent" TV competition last weekend, is to appear in "Street Dance," a new 3D movie.
The BBC said Diversity's fellow "Talent" competitors Flawless, as well as last year's winner George Sampson, have also been cast in the film, which will follow a group in training for the U.K. Street Dance Championships.
To be distributed by Vertigo Films, the movie is being touted as the first British film to be shot in 3D. Production is set to begin in August and casting is still under way, the BBC said.
"I immediately started talking to them about being in the film since I felt they represented the very best of British street dance," producer James Richardson said in a statement to the BBC regarding the "Talent" contenders.
