LOS ANGELES, June 1 (UPI) -- Troubled actor Tom Sizemore has signed on to appear in the third season of the U.S. reality TV series "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew," sources told TMZ.
The well-known supporting player has appeared in the movies "True Romance," "Natural Born Killers," "Heat," "Red Planet," "Saving Private Ryan," "Black Hawk Down" and "Pearl Harbor."
Sizemore, 44, who has a history of drug addiction and brushes with the law, was most recently arrested Thursday on an outstanding warrant for drug charges.
TMZ reported he started work on "Celebrity Rehab" the next day.
Also slated to appear in Season 3 of the series is former call girl ring leader Heidi Fleiss, an ex-girlfriend Sizemore was convicted of assaulting in 2003, the entertainment news Web site said.
Rounding out the cast will be Mackenzie Phillips, Dennis Rodman, Mindy McCready, Lisa D'Amato, Mike Starr, Joey Kovar and Kari Ann Peniche, VH1 said.
Season 3 of the series, consisting of eight one-hour episodes, is to premiere in early 2010, the network said.
