Lori Petty nabbed for alleged DUI

LOS ANGELES, June 1 (UPI) -- Actress Lori Petty was arrested in Los Angeles during the weekend for alleged felony drunk driving after she hit a teen skateboarder with her car.

Petty, 45, is best known for her roles in the 1990s films "Point Break," "Tank Girl" and "A League of Their Own."

EW.com said she was arrested Saturday night on felony drunk driving charges after she collided with a 14-year-old skateboarder in Venice, Calif.

The teen reportedly was treated for injuries at a nearby hospital and discharged.

Petty was booked into the Van Nuys jail, then released on $100,000 bail, EW.com said.
