NEW YORK, June 1 (UPI) -- The debut album of Canadian-born musician/actress Jill Hennessy is set for release this month, On Tour PR said Monday.

"Ghost in My Head," which features songs Hennessy wrote and performed, will be available June 16 online through all major digital service providers, including iTunes, Amazon.com, Aimee Street, Listen.com, MusicNet, Liquid Audio, Napster, Sony Connect, BuyMusic.com, PureTracks, Sprint PCS and others.

Borders will be the exclusive retailer for "Ghost in My Head," available in stores the same day.

"Written over the course of a prolific creative period in 2005-2007, the songs on 'Ghost in My Head' offer a series of intimate emotional vignettes and poignant observations on love, loss, struggle and redemption told through a variety of fluid melodies and vivid musical moods," Hennessy's representatives said in a news release.

Hennessy was recently seen in the film "Lymelife." She is also known for her work on TV's "Law & Order" and "Crossing Jordan."
