LOS ANGELES, May 30 (UPI) -- Actress Natalie Portman reportedly will play the love interest in the new comedy "Your Highness" that is to film in Northern Ireland this summer.

The 27-year-old Israeli-American actress will serve as a warrior princess who garners the attention of actor Danny McBride's character, an arrogant and lazy prince forced to complete a quest in order to save his father's kingdom, The Hollywood Reporter said Friday.

The movie, written by McBride and Ben Best, will also star actor James Franco and is to be directed by David Gordon Green.

The Reporter said Portman also will appear on screen opposite Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobey Maguire soon in "Brothers." The "Closer" actress is now filming "Hesher," a film she is also producing through her Handsomecharlie Films production company.
