Simpson working on new reality show

LOS ANGELES, May 27 (UPI) -- U.S. singer and actress Jessica Simpson, who starred in "Newlyweds" with her then-husband Nick Lachey, is gearing up to star in another reality TV show.

"She and a friend set off on a road trip around the world in search of what people find beautiful and why," a source told Usmagazine.com about the program, which is called "The Price of Beauty."

Word of the show comes shortly after much was made in the media about Simpson's recent weight gain.

"(Simpson will be seen trying some of the) shocking things that women do to make themselves beautiful. Picture 'Fear Factor,'" the insider told Usmagazine.com.

"Jessica is indeed working on a new show, but network details have not been finalized at this time," Simpson's publicist said.
