Nagra gives birth to her first son

LOS ANGELES, May 27 (UPI) -- Parminder Nagra's publicist says the British actress has given birth to a son.

Nagra is best known for her work on the TV series "ER" and in the movie "Bend it Like Beckham." Her husband James Stenson is a photographer.

"Parminder Nagra and her husband James Stenson are thrilled to announce the birth of their son, Kai David Singh Stenson," Nagra's representative told Usmagazine.com. "He was born on Tuesday, May 19. Mother, daddy and baby are all doing great."

The baby is the first for the couple, who married earlier this year.
