The CW fills out its lineup

LOS ANGELES, May 21 (UPI) -- The CW announced it has picked up the new U.S. shows "Melrose Place," "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Beautiful Life" for its 2009-2010 season.

Set to return to the network are "Gossip Girl," "One Tree Hill," "90210," "America's Next Top Model," "Smallville" and "Supernatural," Zap2it.com reported Thursday.

The remakes of the hit 1990s companion series "Melrose Place" and "Beverly Hills, 90210" are to air together Tuesday nights, the entertainment news Web site said.
