CANNES, France, May 20 (UPI) -- British actor Robert Pattinson said at the Cannes film festival there will be a fourth installment of the "Twilight" film franchise and he will star in it.

Pattinson played the male lead in last year's supernatural romance "Twilight" and is now working on "New Moon" and "Eclipse" -- the second and third movies in the vampire series. The movies are based on Stephenie Meyer's popular young-adult novels.
