Danny Gokey voted off 'Idol'

LOS ANGELES, May 13 (UPI) -- Danny Gokey was voted off TV's "American Idol" in Los Angeles Wednesday night.

"This whole experience feels like a dream come true. ... 'American Idol' has given me a whole new hope for my life," Gokey said in a pre-taped segment shown during Wednesday's episode after he was told he wouldn't be moving on to next week's two-part finale.

The remaining contenders are Adam Lambert and Kris Allen.
