FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., May 10 (UPI) -- Producer Kenn Viselman, known as a marketing wiz for his work with the "Teletubbies" U.S. TV series, says he is thrilled about his new "Oogieloves" project.

Viselman said working on the children's film "The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure" in Farmington Hills, Mich., has resulted in the creation of a "joyous" home base of production, the Detroit Free Press said Sunday.

"Oh my God, it's like maybe we should bring the Oogieloves to the Middle East. Maybe they'll solve the Middle East problems! It's a very unexpected, joyous place here," he said.

"I believe that the Oogieloves fill an even bigger void that exists now than the Teletubbies did," he added.

The new film will offer interactive portions that will allow children to sing and dance along with Oogieloves characters.

Viselman told the Free Press a sneak peek of the nearly $10 million film being directed by Matthew Diamond should take place at a major Las Vegas licensing show in June.
