LONDON, May 6 (UPI) -- U.S. pop star Lady Gaga has signed up to sing at this summer's Glastonbury performing arts festival in England.

The BBC said the recording artist, best known for her songs "Poker Face" and "Just Dance," is slated to take the stage on the festival's opening night, June 26.

Other acts previously announced for this year's sold-out festival are Neil Young, Blur and Bruce Springsteen, the BBC said.
