NEW YORK, May 6 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Mia Farrow is documenting on YouTube her hunger strike in support of refugees in Darfur.
The New York Post Wednesday said Farrow is now in Day 11 of a water-only fast she hopes to keep for a three weeks to protest the ban of 16 human welfare agencies from the region by Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir.
"Of course, I don't expect that me on a hunger strike is going to do that much," the Post quoted Farrow as saying in one YouTube clip. "But if it provides a news hook for newspapers so they can talk about what's really important, then that will be worth it."
